Tulip Festival

So, we did this really wonderful thing on Sunday afternoon.  The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is one of those things that I've wanted to do every since I've lived here.  It's silly and cheesy and really wonderful.  Every three seconds you decide that THIS tulip is the most beautiful, or THIS tulip is the brightest.  I highly recommend.  There are also a lot more pictures up on my Flickr.

Hi there! Your photos are so pretty! You have probably mentioned it before, but what kind of camera do you have?

Hi Liz-

I use a Canon Powershot SD980IS. Just a little point and shoot, but I LOVE it!

Awesome, thanks! I'm in the market for a camera--it's so encouraging to see such "pro"-looking photos coming from a point and shoot. YAY!

I love thinking about getting a fancy big camera, but I know I won't want to drag it around, so I've been leaning toward a point and shoot. Thanks again and blessings!
